The 2000s brought us many iconic toys and games, from Bratz and MyScene dolls to Beyblades, Razor scooters, and more. Many toy lines that had began in the 20th century continued offering amazing lines and collections into the 21st century, sometimes with new looks, bodies, or even both (case in point: Fashion Polly Pocket dolls being released around the turn of the millennium, introducing the iconic rubber clothing and larger dolls many people today associate with the Polly Pocket line of dolls, a drastically different doll from the smaller dolls in the carrying cases from the 90s).
And with the continuing rise of the internet, came many iconic web browser games based off of the actual toy lines during this decade, typically made with Macromedia/Adobe Flash or Shockwave.
In addition to online games, the 2000s were also the era where large toy manufacturers (such as Mattel and MGA Entertainment) would do tie ins with some of their toy lines with movies, typically direct to DVD releases (examples of this include Pollyworld, Barbie in the Nutcracker, and Bratz Babyz: The Movie).
Some toy lines you may remember from the 2000s include Barbie, Bratz, MyScene, American Girl, Polly Pocket, Nerf, Beyblade, Lego, Pokemon Cards, Baby Alive, What's Her Face?, Aquapets (with the unfortunately shaped container), Aqua Dots (DO NOT EAT!!!) and more.
